Can do full-time internship while not in school, or part-time while in school as the most popular options. My brother Rob did 3 of them, 2 as part-time, 1 as full-time. For myself, I've always worked through school with real jobs in my career path rather than an internship. Found it easier to be hired full-time if the employer understands your school schedule and is flexible enough. Night classes kick ass.
