I'm a Canon guy so, I have little knowledge with Nikon models. I was assuming if you wanted to get into photography one would purchased an entry level DSLR. Oh well!
It's not a DSLR but it's not bad. Has a good amount of features, decent zoom, and records great video. I'm not really trying to get into photography though. Just like messing around with it. I've been using my cell phone forever to take pics lol.
