The soldiers in the video are part of the armed forces in New Zealand. The ritual is called a haka and it has roots in Polynesian ancestry, and specific to New Zealand is the Maori hakas. Obviously the chants are in their language.

Look up some of the related videos where the rugby teams (specifically the All Blacks) use certain hakas prior to matches.
