I rode the R6 today (thanks rolla) and compared to my ZX6R, the R6 seems a bit down on power. other than that my dislikes were the egronomics, and that the bike felt very small compared to the ZX6R ( a bigger and heavier bike) . also, i dont really like the fact that the R6 doesnt have a neutral finder. i kept missing gears. the R6 is a very well made machine, but id have to say if i had to choose id go with my ZX6R. the yammy felt very nimble by comparision BUT there was less fairing to hide behind at speed. for the track, id prolly wanna try out an R6. but if the main goal is street riding/some trackdays, if the GSXR feels anything like the ZX6R id def. go with the gixxer.
