First photo: Nice colors, busy background, tree crowding the shot, cramped crop.

Second photo: Subject far too close to the bottom, with way too much boring sky.

Advice: Use the Rule-of-Thirds a bit more, and use more DoF

Also, watermarks, no matter how appropriate, make a good photo look shitty.
