Anyone who says that they get "bored" with there 600 is full of shit, ive been riding for over 2 years and i would still buy a 600cc. riding is riding. it doesn’t matter how big your bike is unless your trying to go in a straight line. i just sold my 03' R6 and i LOVED that bike and I wouldn’t think twice about buying another one.

Personally I think you don’t want a 600 because you don’t want people to make jokes or just because saying that you have a 1000 sounds cooler.. but i say go ahead and get a 1000 as a first bike.. ill see you at your funeral. I would seriously think about taking at riding class. they will show you a movie that has some pretty grusom (sp?) wrecks on it, and its all people tring to "show off" or who simply werent able to ride there bike. its like the other Del said "you cant ride your bike when your afriad of it"
