All you guys are talking crazy talk with these prices. Here is how my last 4 s2000's were bought for:
1. 2002 red/black with 150k for $7800 Good paint, no rips in the top and it ran perfect.
2. 2003 blue/blue with 110k for $6,800 Hard top, super clean interior, ran perfect
3. 2002 blue/blue with 178k for $3,800 Was wrecked in the front, spent $3k in repairs/paint, and when I was done it looked/ran perfect with brand new interior
4. 2000 gpw/red with 148k for $6,000 Mugen front lip, GC coilovers, super clean interior and it also ran perfect
Now I am on #5. It is a 2002 with 56k original miles.
You guys just need to look around, have the cash to throw down in the sellers face; and make sure you buy a solid running one.
edit:
I'm not going to lie tho, I've good money on all of those cars. The market has shot up after all the idiots bought them at the low point and a lot were wrecked, salvaged, exported.
