Thats total BS... Uberdata is not in anyway based on hondata... I tune uberdata, i know... Every option hondata has, uberdata has for free... except for the 3 bar version which you have to make a donation(can be as little as $2) to get... Also tuning on the fly is still being worked on.. Currently the only way around it is to burn a chip for every change u make, so u'd just have to burn the chip and since its a socketed ecu, pull the old chip out and plug the new chip in... You only solder the socket once... after that u just pop out and plug in... People are complaining about crome copying uberdata but there was never a problem with Uberdata and Hondata... Blake programmed Uberdata from the ground up...
Upgrades and patches are available... Blake frequently updates it so there are always new versions of it, there have been about 6 versions till date and also other freelance programmers add other features which you can download in addition to uberdata... The only cost involved with uberdata is the cost of the chips and tools to socket the ecu and the cost of the burner(unless u know someone with one)...compared to the price of hondata, u are definitely saving more than $70... uberdata is not for the weak hearted though... u have to know what u are doing... hondata is a lot more user friendly....

A programer on h-t cracked the code on a older version of Hondata, and released it to the public. Again this is an older code, without options. I also believe the guy who cracked the code got in trouble for scamming some people on some other shit, but made it right somehow.
