you can also get aftermarket fan switches. They usually are temperature probes that fit between the fins of the radiator. Once the probe reaches a certain temperature, it kicks on the fan. You can pick up at any auto parts store. We are actually wiring up one for my friend's supra. More wiring but just another option for you.
