i see...my solution is more if your thermo switch isn't working.. you can use that probe instead of buying a factory switch. If you are looking for some kind of notificaiton that it's working, you can make a display light parallel to the fan motor circuit. This will only tell you if your fan is getting power, kinda the same as a manual switch. If you have a bad fan, a display light or a manual switch won't help you.
