Not necessarily. Your last tire might have had a lower profile. Meaning the height of the center of the tire. I went from shitty Dunlops to Pirelli Supercorsa's. Trust me; I felt like I could turn on a dime. The profile change of the tires made it feel like I was riding a new bike!!!!!!!!!!!
