He is running modified class, not the street glow cars class. The street glow cars are full tube chassis while pauls car still has the factory front strut towers. So that is a world record, fastest before in that class was a 7.5.

And I think the 9 second dsm was the extreme car, the only one I saw. Sean Ivey is getting pretty close with his talon too(10.0 or 10.1 can't remember exactly having memory lapse).
