I've got an AEM SRI and a DC TCS catback exhaust and I'd be lucky if I picked up 5whp. The computer is ULEV, so it readjusts the fuel maps and stuff because of the larger volume of air.
If you really want to tune it, you're going to need to get an Apex'i VAFC2/SAFC2. If you've got an EX, get the VAFC2. It'll allow you to change your VTEC engagement points, along with fuel curves and whatnot. That's what I'm planning on doing.
The only real way you're going to get any power out of these things are going to be through a turbo setup or K20 swap. You can go the nitrous route, but be careful. I've talked to too many guys that I've blown their D17 on the giggle gas.

i know a bud who has the exact same setup as mine, intake header, exhaust on a 2002 EX. his peak HP rating (not at wheels) was 147 on the dyno. so that is roughly 120-125?? no? im not sure. and if a zex kit is deleterious to my car, then im gonna have to just leave my cars setup at what it is now. i made the mistake of buying a 7th gen with the hopes of modifying it. if i had the opportunity, i woulda def. gotten a 6th gen, and boosted it. but hell, im happy w/ what i have, and i love my car. i guess that means i can forfeit money for zex and get goodies like a CF hood and mugen front lip
and to the dude w/ the prism.... dont compare my car to a geo fucking prism god damn. thats almost insulting dude.
