Okay I have had both and would say that sohc make really good torque numbers but are limited in the head cause of flow. Small ass valves. Dohc can make good power on low boost just 6-9 psi. probably in the mid 200. Hey Arnell never said he raced an EVO. Also many people don't have an JDM ITR engine in there car either.
