FYI you can buy a separate insurance policy for track events. I think it's like $500 for a years coverage, but hey your guaranteed to be covered if you ball the car up.

Af for the while "driving school" classification paying off, it really doesn't anymore. Insurance companies (I work for GIECO) have gotten far my savy when dealing with these thigs. If I destroyed my car at VIR it's be tough to get insurance to cover it eventhough it's a "school" I have Allstate and I think it's a kinda "one time thing" They'll cover me once, but then I'm dropped.
