on my last order i did from APC I got these lights called litestripes. They are a very thin material that glows. The casing that they have on them makes them less then a 1/4 of an inch then and about 3/8ths of an inch wide. They are also water proof so they can be mounted on the outside of the vehicle, these things are sweet.

_____They come in blue, red or green. One set has two 5ft. lengths that come w/ it. I'm mounting the ones that I odered for myself on the (in)sides of my bed, they light thing up pretty damn good. They may not be as bright as neons but they are close. and were else can you get lighting that you can cut and still work and also be able to reuse the individual pieces you cut off!
