i live in chesapeake which is larger by area than fairfax county...
the CHP won a VA state effeciency award for a departments less than 400 officers...
and fairfax county won all the awards for departments with over 1000 officers... because they are the only department with more than 1k officers in the state...
every year the state holds these awards ceremonies and every year FCPD always has the most of everything and with each award comes extra funding for whatever...
they have tons of trail bikes (honda XR series dirt bikes) at the franconia station that they purchased with award funds... what the fuck do they need those for?
I went on a ride-a-long too. They don't need that many flatfoot traffic cops. Because you know Vienna, Great Falls, and McLean is just teaming with scumbags waiting to commit crimes
The worst part is definately Herndon, thats where I went on my ride-a-long. They have some very bad problems rising up, and from what I saw and heard, there's not much going on to make it stop. The reason why everyone hates them is because they harass drivers and hand out tickets like candy because they know they can make mass amounts of money off us Northern Virginians
