i'm not saying it makes him an ass, but as i recalled the post someone had to bring out the old picture and call him out to get him to admit he was lighting up his tire, so it just makes me question his credibility if he says he did it on purpose, but i dont' know him at all really... but racing wera doesn't really mean anything, anyone thats completed a school(me) can race wera and i sure as hell can't power slide, the 600 class is a real cluster fuck of experienced guys and people that have only done one track day so it doesn't tell me he's good or bad... but he looked to have good form hanging with hatchman who seemed to be setting a nice pace

but thats not a turn you square off especially on a R6 i don't think theres anywhere on the vir you'd light up a 600 on purpose, and he never did it before or after in the video and seemed to let off really quick as soon as it did happen and went way off line... so all that tells me he just had a scary moment, it appears to be a text book almost highside, it happens but i wouldn't claim it was technique if i did it... i'll ask him on cycle forums, i just can't imagine he was doing it as technique to go faster, i'm not trying to down him too much he'd probably put me in my place bad on the track, but those control riders passed him like he was standing still and he said a 16 year old on a SV did too, i'd think if he has the skill to power slide around the track he'd be going a little faster
