How long does it generally take to get down there? I've never been to the track before, but would like to see what my slow arse V6 can do. Well, I probably dont wanna see cuz I'll be disappointed, but I'd like to go. Is there anything that needs to be done prior to going to make my car track-legal? Or is there anything I should read before going? It'd be my first time and I've never even watched at a track before, but I think it'd be cool. Any help or pointers would be appreciated. I think I'd like to try it out.

Gates open at 5pm there and racing begins at 6pm, so how about we all meet at the Lowe's around 3 and leave no later than 3:15pm?

steve, you're gonna run 15's? hehe. well, i'll see you there, hehe. i always wondered how my car would do against yours in the 1/4 mile. i know a stick lude with your mods would whip me, but i dunno how an auto would do. i'll most likely go.

I thought drag racing was a valid excuse?
Excuses
- "My sex change operation just can't be rescheduled."
- "I need to be owned by some F-bodies tonight." <--- Don't you like this one?
Hell really just say you got a group meeting or some required trip for your class. Though your graduated aren't you? How about grandma has to get a ride from the airport or you have a really sick family member in Bristol, Tn.......
