Don't end me

Haven't seen any used dashes around for ya, Chris. I can try to contact some Datsun guys out in Arizona if you want. They may have one/know someone with a dash pad if the reconstruction doesn't work.
Honestly, I need the headlight trim/scoops really bad. If you know of anyone with them let me know!

My buddy in roanoke doesn't have anything unfortunately. I dropped a line with the guys out west. We'll see if they can turn anything up

Ok thanks for the help!

Small update:

I got the body of the console broken down today and the old vinyl stipped off. I'll be cleaning this up a little but overall it's in very good shape. Hopefully it'll be rewrapped tomrrow and reassembled/complete!

Old vinyl pulled off:

My key to world peace is acrylic/methacrylate structural adhesives. But, as you know I'm a huge geek. So my version of world peace is slightly more.. geeky.

LOL thanks!

I stayed up late last night and decided to finish the center console. I think it turned out reallllllly nice! It still have to mount the latch and the trim on the bottom side of the lid, but I want to clean it up and paint it before mounting it.

Here is the lid, that foam was not fun to get off:

Recovered!

Trim Installed, still needs the slider knob:

Again no latch yet:

It's not 100% perfect, but I'm happy with it.

Nice work... how will that metallic paint hold up on that slide door over time?
