His body facing away from the turn,
His head is on the high side of the bike,
His bike has way more lean than necessary,
would not bang

I'd say there was a fair amount of skill involved in his riding. That picture was passed around on ducati.ms a while ago as well and they all basically joked and said "quickest way from point A to point B is the shortest distance traveled".

Two things. Check out how great the new Panigale crashes. Happened at Kyalami track on the flat turn on, dropped the front end and well... the pics explain the amazing story after that.
Race! South Africa already has their second one built up and back on the track.
