Joe's Good Food Fast
3603 High Street
Portsmouth, VA 23707-2531
(757) 393-2233
Great Place. It's small with only a few tables. But the food is huge! The best thing on the menu is the 4-5" diameter wraps. Stuffed full of meat, cheese and other goodness. Only thing I don't like is that everything comes with regular ruffles potato chips as a side. Deserts are awesome, service is fairly quick with a smile. 2 people is around $20

Need some help from this thread. My dad is coming from out of town and wants oysters badly. Anyone recommend somewhere? I've had them at chicks and bubbas and wasn't very impressed. I've been looking online at reviews and nowhere seems to stand out. What do you guys suggest?

There's a place in Moyock or Elizabeth City or someplace close to there in NC called The Oyster Bar. I ate there a year or so ago and the prices were cheap and the oysters are fantastic - I was eating them raw. They do them lots of different ways.
It isn't a fancy place or anything, their beers are all in cans, and the food is simple and classic southern style seafood.
