Re: Cycle whore thread
If me and the weather guy were to ever meet at a party... I couldn't be held responsible for my actions.
Road to work today on a day that was supposed to be sunny. road home half wet because I only packed the top half of my rain gear. Wasn't as bad as I expected it to be though.

I'd be so sketched about hitting exhaust which would cause your tire to lift off the ground which would cause fucking catastrophic failure captain.
WEEEEEEEEEEE
Re: Cycle whore thread
what weather man are you using? I check weather.com, accuweather, noaa, and weatherunderground. I rode monday when half the sites were calling for 10-20% for rain, some others were saying 30-50%. managed to stay dry until well after I got home. tomorrow is 0% chance of rain, low 50s in the morning, low 70s in the afternoon... but windy. ~20mph. my rain suit showed up today, so until I buy a tail bag, I'll just ride with it stashed in a backpack.

I helped him with the bike and he goes, "No worries, happens all the time!"

two of the local and weather.com
They have failed me... all of them said monday/tuesday was going to be a total rainfest. Resulted in nothing till past 8pm on tuesday. today was supposed to be clear, it rained for about 5 hours starting at noon.
as for the pack, I have tank bag with a rain cover, which I learned today leaks ... it only got a little water in the map pocket but it was a bit depressing. everything else was dry. having that and no backpack is glorious.
