Not sure if this was mentioned but Roger Brown's on High St in P-Town. No place better locally to get Chicken & Waffles...not to mention they also have Black IPA.

When I'm down at the boardwalk and want breakfast, I got to Pocahontas Pancakes. They're over priced but their food is good and portions are decent.

Had the lamb shank and fries cooked in duck fat at The Public House (pa road and colley in norfolk) and it was deeelicious.
Service is still slow as they just opened last week and they're getting the kinks worked out but give this place a month or so and stop in. You won't be disappointed.

Hey guys, don't post all that often, but read all the time. I looked through these pages and didn't notice this one:
Place:The Broken Egg Bistro
Location:501 Kempsville Rd., Chesapeake, VA 23320
Number:757.410.8515
GF and I go here sometimes after work. Portion sizes are adequate, waitresses are attentive, very polite, and have yet to get an order wrong. They have a full bar, prices are meh. Mimosas and Bloody Mary's are good. If you really want to get your grub on you can try their "Kitchen Sink Challenge." It’s a A 5lb. skillet of fresh eggs, cheddar cheese, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, bacon and two kinds of sausage. Served with a mound of roasted potatoes and a biscuit.

Sushi/Hibachi Style food:
Soya Virginia Beach
Right next to hilton hotel/neptune
Best sushi I've personally ever eaten.
Regular courses are great as well, sauces are awesome.
prices, not so awesome, but not completely unreasonable.
Pizza:
Brickhouse
Port Warwick Newport News
This is amazing, everything just seems higher quality
So much cheese that 2 pieces will fill you up though
I recommend bbq chicken with the garlic stuffed crust, pure amazingness.
Good food, cheap beer
Beef O Bradys
Oyster Point Road next to Care a lot pet supply
Newport News
Great food and 1.50 draft pints all day everyday, talk about a cheap tab!
