Yeah, it don't matter much anyway......If you put it on the cold side, any surge pulses just make it a shorter distance down the piping, SR setups usually put it on the hot side too.......the main point is just to stop that surge pulse before it gets to the turbo
i always thought it was best to put it as close to the TB as possible..
That will relieve the surge sooner...but there's no harm in putting it further down the line......The place you don't really want it is close to the turbo, wouldn't want any surge getting that close to it, as long as you keep that in mind, don't make much difference
