You should be able to at LEAST steer a controlled wheelie left/right with the foot brake, on or off idle, no hander wheelies, and coasters before even thinking about putting a handbrake on.

I need to come ride with yall sometime so that you can teach me this method.

I say hand brake so when I do 3rd gear stand ups or I can put both feet on back pegs. or do seat wheelies. That way I don't have to cover up the rear brake and I can comfortably put my right foot back too.

brakes only slow you down and add un-needed weight.

I just happen to have a double banjo sitting around if you want to try it on your bike I guarantee it wont work.

alright buttplug. it does the same thing. fluid pressure from the left master cylinder on the bar will work the back brake. the BEST way to do it would be another rear caliper, so you have a whole second rear brake system. tieing into the factory caliper WILL work, but it'll be a lil spongy b/c some of the pressure will try and force it's way back through the stock rear brake master cylinder. aren't you running a single caliper on the back? same thing. you just need to make sure your fluid levels are as high as you can get them.

it might not be the best setup, but it does work.

dunno if i'd go trying to use it without already having good brake control like this guy is talking about though.

LIL spongy? Try completely defeats the purpose of a handbrake! It won't work! LOL

Yup-with a GP TECH ADAPTER. Not the same thing! Just go ahead and say your wrong and I'm right Steve. I know you hate to...

...Unless you really want to bet paychecks but I aint taking you to the hospital cuz theres no way I'll clutch a spreader up running a dual banjo into a single caliper LOL.

if i had enough brake line and another master cylinder, i'd do it to my 954 just to prove a point.

whatever, i say we just agree to disagree.

Ok, dumb question but I will ask it.... on the hand brake, does that eliminate the rear foot brake all togeither? Or can you still use both?

thanks again for the pics
