i always do 35% all the way around and 50% on the winshield and ive NEVER been pulled over for tint, and when i get pulled over in any city they dont say anything about the tint at all.

Go to the DMV to get a form, or you can do it online but cant remember how to find it on their website. See you eye doctor and get checked for "light sensitivity." If you have it, have them fill out that form. Just because you get approved....doesnt mean you can throw mirror tints on your car, or something outrageous. I think it allows you to go 35% all around and 50% in the front windshield.

I have a medical waiver and 35% on both my cars. I got out of a tint ticket with it. Supposedly DMV sends you a registration card with some notation but I have yet to recieve it, so I am just keeping the signed waiver with me at all times.
