Yea there usally flagged down w/in a few hours. Even though you never know one could be true. I remember some women sold a Lotus for like $10k. But you had to pick it up before her husband came home. Haa, it was in the news.

haha, i wouldnt buy anything off craigslist. I had one guy who was working in the uk but wanted me to ship the product to nigera. After i saw that i did google search and found alot of site reporting as a scam. Then a few days later he sent me an E-mail saying he already sent the money to my paypal account and that i cheated him and he was going to turn me into the FBI. lol.

the scam will always involve shipping the vehicle.
so, if you have any questions to whether the ad is a scam or not, then ask to see if you can pick up the bike instead of it being shipped. a scam will never let you have the option of picking it up. no matter what you say, the scammer will always say he/she will ship it to you.

same thing went down recently at my wife's job in realestate. This guy claiming to be from Nigeria copied a listing on another site, renters.com or something and put it on craigslist, made his own Yahoo account with the Listers original name, and told people to wire transfer $700 to rent this house by the beach which was originally listed at $1300. Well he got one person until my wife's work got calls about the listing and were confused as to what listing on craigslist, wuickly they realized it was a scammer. FBI took care of him.

Hello,
First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my 2006 HONDA CBR1000RR .
The bike is still available, I sell it at this price because i just finished the divorce with my husband. When the divorce was finished i won
this bike . Now as a women i don't need it. This bike is in excellent working conditions, slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions.
From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request ONLY secure pay, I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services so both of
us can be protected. We will use a safe payment method because I am affiliated at eBay and I have a purchase protection account for $20.000.
The final price that I want for this bike is $2950 including shipping and handling. I will wait your answer, if you are interested to buy, very soon!

Thank you,
Angela Merrill.

i remember falling for that thing one time when i had wanted to sell a drumset. instead of being a buyer i was a seller. and they gave me a check over 3000 of what i asked for and told me to cash it in and sent the money as quick as i could.. i asked the bank if it was fake and it was.. so now i have a fake 4000 check on my wall. seemed real. but doesn't pass.

They do this in the cycle trader as well. I have had a few friends call me asking if its a good deal and they all read me emails that sound just like the ones you guys are posting.
