im 100% sure you have already jacked the car up and grabbed the exaust and tried to shake it to find the rattle...correct?
and im sure while it was in the air you also tried shaking your wheels and checking them for the rattle?? correct?

my flow master muffler deff had a heat shield, and was a noisy bastard.....cut it off and done(no more rattle after removing every other heat sheild
