Well now the op had said that they paid him to have a motor installed,no it won't be salvage...but it will have history of needing a motor...but that's not really a bad thing...since a buyer may think it had a brand new engine installed when reality I'm sure insurance paid for a used engine....but its still not worth having 8000 tied up in it...

it was taken to the shop. I also verified by pulling the plugs, fp fuse, and trying to turn the motor both manually and via the starter. Seized.

for me, i like the idea of having a new clutch and a motor with 60k on it in a good condition 330 for 8k, just saying. Any other 330ci esp in this color at a price of 8k will def have a ton of miles on it. Plus if you find a diy'r that works with me on price, they would be plenty under 8k after all is said and done. A M54 direct swap is not rocket science.

Id work with you on the price...I wouldn't mind having it...pm me the rock bottom,crack head,about to get thrown out of your house price....cause I damn sure don't need it...lol
