In my company it's typically between $50K-60K. Our interpretation is sort of "immediate computer support" outside of Programmers, Admins, and Networking, and tends to be found in very specialized departments. My department for example uses a (internally) modified version of a DB application, which has interfaces with various third party apps and batch processing, both internal and with outside vendors. I oversee anything and everything related to those processes. Also, due to the limited computer-literacy of the staff in that dept., I also serve as first contact (aka: Nick Burns) for any mundane problems my co-sheep may experience. I am sort of a jack-of-all-trades. In other depts, the "systems analysts" tend to have more defined roles. Luckily for me, nobody before me has ever done the job that I am doing. So there is PLENTY of work and opportunity for ME.
