mark, theres no way you can remove 1000lbs from a teg if youre going to daily drive it. granted it already has a b series motor, but like someone said, you can have a crx with a type r motor for the same price, if not less, as a built ls.

didnt you say you were going to drive it on the weekends? if youre going to completely gut it like that, its gonna suck even taking that thing anywhere if its not on a trailor.

basically what hes trying to say, slowr6, is that unless you are going to build this for a full drag car, the integra isnt going to be that great for you. and no, crx's didnt come with power steering at all. trust me though, you dont notice it.

yes, you can put an ls into a crx. and no, you dont notice the power steering difference at all. i went from driving a car for a year and a half with power steering, to driving a car without it, and it doesnt bother me one bit.

Re: which car to start ?
you can put any motor into a crx that you can put into an integra. the h22 fits a lot easier into an integra than a crx, but you dont plan on using that motor anyways. any ls motor from a 90-93 will drop right in with the full swap (motor, tranny, mounts, linkage, harness and ecu). you can usually find cable tranny ls swaps for no more than a grand or so.
and with a car as light as the crx, it doesnt take anything to turn the car even without power steering. trust me i know, ive owned a crx for the past 2 yrs, and raced it on a track. drag, autox, and at langley speedway circle track.
