I don't see a 4" DP really making a big diff from the 3" DP on anything smaller than a T4 exhaust side. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt the gains are significant.

If youre going to do some 4" piping that scrapes on every single bump and is probably a complete bitch to bend/hits your frame all the time, why not just get a nice 3" and pull it off when you go to race.. like its going to be some monster difference on stock turbos..

That's an option. I need to talk to the folks w/ 4" pipes to see if that's a problem - good point. I know the 4" won't make a big difference on the stock turbos, but I don't want to buy a 3" now ($700), then after going single, buy a 4" kit ($900 - 1200).

I'd go with the 4" TI exhaust, which is what I have. My car is down because I had to ship my T78 out for repair, but It should be up and running in 2 weeks. As for the 4" DP, if I were you, I'd talk to a guy named RJ on tidewaterracing.com who does custom welding. I believe his screen name on there is HJ11 .

BTW: A 4" DP wont scrape or hit anything.

The Tanabe Racing Medalion sounds NICE on a Supra then my buddy went and got a Titanium Veilside I believe sounded GOOD!

ive used the hks super drager on both of mine. not very loud and obnoxious, sounds good to me. but ive only run on the stock twins, id go 4inch with a single, the hks titanium that pyari uses.

Yup I can vouch for him. RJ does top notch work. He did some exhaust work for me. If you plan on going single I say go for the 4" now. Also, the exhaust note will change quite a bit when you go single so keep that in mind when you listen to sound clips. Just something else to keep in mind.
