Re: need help on a starting problem
got great news..........took the carbs apart last night, and they were clogged a little. so i went over to autozone and bought their most expensive carb cleaner. so i cleaned the bowls out and all the jets and put them back together. i ran into trouble putting the throttle cables back on the carbs(one was easy but the other is a bitch). after two hours i still couldn't get it. so i got fed up and took it to the local shop which i hated to do since they rape you. they called me 3 hours later saying that they got it all hooked up but and the problem was def. the carbs. now though, that most expensive f-ing carb cleaner i got caused all the seals in the carbs to swell so nothing seals and gas leaks everywhere when you turn the gas on. so again the carbs need to come off and be rebuilt now. oh well. $430.00 later they will be fixed. what a bitch though

One last guess if the carbs don't do the trick. Are your new plugs the same heat range as the old ones? I got burned on that one last year. Same symptoms you had, the bike just didn't want to run because the plugs were the wrong range.
