In my opinion: <300whp = ka-t
>300whp = sr
insane whp = RB26

if you go with your 4,000 ka setup, you'll have about 400-450rwhp or should limit yourself to that on stock rods.
if you spent 4,000 to get and then modify and sr youre only gonna be in the 300 range unless you find some really cheap parts and can do your own labor. a requirement for the sr20 to go bigger power is bigger turbo, FMIC, bigger injectors, ecu tune. those 4 things are nearly 2500$ alone.
if money is a problem, then go SR swap and gradually upgrade.
