People say the JK motors are trash.
The Toyota will hold its resale value better than the jeep.
But the after market parts are more plentiful for the jeep
I'd rather have the truck bed though... that's the reason I've stuck with a pickup.

Re: 4x4 Off Topic Thread
The exhaust flanges on my Banks headers have rusted into pieces causing an exhaust leak in front of the 02 location..it runs like shit. I contacted Banks about the issue to test their warranty..well up to 5 years they cover 100%, then pro-rate it 10% every year after that. They don't have me in their system...so I'd have to have my original purchase invoice..which is LONG gone..so I'm ass out with Banks.
I have a few more house things I want to do before I spend $$$ on re-doing the exhaust. I've searched the net and running ideas though my head..then I found these little miracles..http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-36130/?rtype=10
It's not the best option, but good enough til I get done with the house stuff.

The flanges are nearly completely gone, there's nothing left to clamp the connections together. The "doughnut" gaskets are lose in the flared part of the flange. There's just enough of the flange there to keep them from coming all the way off.
I'm working with something similar to this..

Played on the trail a little since I had to clear debris causing the water to back up. Figured I snap a few pics of water running on the trail.
