Re: additions to the main site/forums.
My parents paid $50 for a tripod for my birthday last year. I like it but overtime it's starting to work it's way lose.
I just use my built in timer now and it works a lot better than dropping $150+ on a tripod. Atleast for right now.

I'm thinking I need to start being more liberal with my timer. I have hated using it in the past, but it seems the most logical way.
I am using a Digital Rebel btw. Thanks for everyone's input.

Yeah Kevin try that out. I never used my built in timer on any of the cameras I had, but I noticed that it posed a problem when I was shooting at say ~1 second shutter because by the time I got my hand off the picture snapped off and looked like crap.
All of the shots in "Shawn's SRT-4" thread were taken using my timer.

Since I dont have the camera infront of me...is there a way to set the amount of time for the timer? Like bring it down to 2-3 seconds instead of whatever the default 10-15seconds is? It would be uber annoying if I had to wait for the long ass timer each time. Camera is stuck at work, so lend a brotha a hand.
