Looks like i'll have these float bowls apart tomorrow morning. What are my cleaning options? Best way to go about it? Things to take into consideration as I work? Things to look out for? Things to avoid?

Thanks

OK so thanks to my new dremel (Pic #1) i got some decent slits cut in these stuck-ass-screws (Pic #2). The first one was sloppy and took a while, because i couldn't get straight edges on the sides of my slit and the screwdriver kept poppin' out. But once i cleared that up, the last 3 screws were very very straightforward. Remember, I have 0 tool experience, especially power tools. Although I did wear gloves & safety glasses! Horray!

So, Got these bowls off (one was a lil stuck and required minimal force, you can probably guess which one due to the shape of the gasket). They look pretty dirty - so i'm glad y'all made me do this.

What I need now are VERY SPECIFIC instructions about what the fuck i'm supposed to be doing, and some suggestions on where to get replacement gaskets since these (at least one of them) seems to be kaput.

Cool bike, do I have to have no shirt to ride it?

You don't get to ride it regardless of the extent to which you are clothed.

And no, I don't typically have clothes on when I'm at home.

OK So i was reaidng thorugh the Clymer's carb disassembly instructions to try and get a general handle on the cleaning process that i'm going to undetake tomorrow, and one of the steps involved removing a pilot screw & spring from each carb. I have attached the associated diagram below in Pic #1.

Except that as you can see in Pic #2, there doens't seem to be a pilot screw or spring in either of my carbs. I looked around, they didndt "fall out" or anything when I was taking the float bowls off.

Ideas?
