HASport makes mounts for a B series in a first gen CRX. Expect to pay about 300 bucks +or- for the mounts. Then your gonna need linkage ($?) the motor and tranny itself (~$1600), axles (~$100), and installation. It would be a pretty big job to swap it into a first gen but it should be a beast when it's done.

Well either a B-16 B18 or H22 would be the best choice. Mounts should be easy to find. Then you'll need new cams, pistons, rods, crankshaft, polished and ported heads, intake, a carefully chosen exhaust, cam sprokets, and some HONDAT work done. Oh yeah and a new tranny, bigger rims, probably some new halfshafts, bigger brakes, a new suspension setup, some STB's (you know thoes hatchbacks...) and then you'll have it fast. Maybe. I have NO garuentees about pretty... but as long as it doesn't end up ;like this you should be aight...

NA- CRVTEC P/P head, some internals. I/H/E..12.8s on slicks all motor
FI- Any engine will do. Build up internals, proper tuning, correct turbo for your setup. 300-400 hp hi 11s-12s.
it's all about what you want to do..and the tuning you get done..remember you get what you pay for.. my .02

Thats just about the tiniest Honda you can start with for a swap project. Good luck and get one of those engine shrinkers while you're at it, and maybe a good can of grease to help everything slide in place before you start with the big hammer... You'll have a hell of a quick NA car when you're done though, light light light....
