I want to get it either way, I just don't want a clown bike. No self esteem problems. I just like to get advice from others. I thought that was what forums were for to get information and advice, but maybe I was wrong. But as for everyone else, Thanks!

 

Well I have a 99 f4 yellow black color scheme... I like it... its a decent bike... if you get that bike for that price its a really good deal... good luck

 

No one jokes another for having a particular bike. Except maybe on dragva. All of the riders I've met just love riding, whether it's a 250 Ninja or an R1.

I've never joked on anyone about their bikes out loud. I've had my ass handed to me by some bikes that people would normally joke on while also have been in awe of other people's bikes which they couldn't ride well. I was following a guy on an old vf500 from the 80's that was beat to hell and had the left footpeg broken off....the guy would ride with his foot on the back peg when cruising.....he also had on the ugliest neon and black colored leather jacket from the 80's. I couldn't keep up with the guy and he wasn't even trying. Also saw a guy in a leather club vest and t-shirt on a chromed out gsxr heading toward the naval base on 64. Thought he was a poser until he went through the corner not only fast but extremely smooth. He slowed down after the corner to let me catch up before he pulled up one of the cleanest 2nd gear wheelies which he rode for about a half mile before gently setting it down.........dude punked me both times and put me in my place!!! If the people are joking on you for your ride you need to find some new people to ride with



people do joke on my about my drz400sm supermoto bike because they don't get it. They wonder why I'm riding around or hanging out on what they think is a dirt bike

 

all but one it was years ago but I was out there a couple times with a group. Been out there a few times with a coworker and by myself

 

what year is the r6? just make sure its fuel injected if not definately go with the f4i its a better handling bike. but if you have 4000 to spend a friend of mines has an 04 gsxr600 for 4000 i think it has maybe 3k on it shes scared of it. its black and orange
