I personally have not had any problems at all with mine. I also have a CVT though....5speed Coopers that had the same build time as I did were experiencing shift linkage problems and I know alot of S's have had problems with the coolant system. But honestly...some stuff is to be expected for a car that was just released.

(I've been a mod on a MINI specific forum for the past year....the vast majority of people there have experienced little or no problems with theirs.)

I owned a mini cooper s it was a nice car. The I liked haveing the Xenon headlights.. Handling was great with the 17inch wheels.. I recently sold it not cause i didnt like it just cause i wanted a more tunable car. I bought a wrx
