If it was me i'd go with the bmw.
Poking fun would prob' involve having a smiley posted with your statement....not the "rolling eyes" one. I try and provide facts to go with my opinions. We all have assholes right? You are what? 20 years old? I seriously doubt you have enough experience to qualitatively or quantitatively be a judge of good handling. Just a fact of life junior. I do respect your opinion and based on the OP's original statements..........he'd probably be better off in a more civil bimmer. The C6 base model outperformed every car except a C6Z06 and GT3 Porsche in the last lightning lap @ VIR (this was a lowly 400hp 2007 model and not the new LS3 which with the proper options puts out 436hp). It's in this months Car and Driver. The 335i bimmer was actually quicker than the M coupe (Z4) but was over 5 seconds slower through the course.

Fuck the corvette. Get the 335i!!!!!! With a $1500 piggyback, you can have more horsepower and torque than the stupid vette. Whatcha V-8 fanboys think of that?

Losers.

Thanks for the all input so far and the "minimal" flaming.

To flite:
I lived up in rochester for school till last summer. That's how the tib lasted so long. The s2k was fun, I just wanted something more. Hard to explain. If someone asked me what I didn't like about it, I couldn't come up with anything except more leg room might have been nice. (I'm 6'2)

65-spyder:
If I thought I would be here longer than another 2 years (If that) I'd def consider a house. I plan to be hopefully back in the north east or in the North west in the next 18 to 24 months. Unless I missed the "positive" change in the housing market, I won't have a definitive sell in 2 years time if I wanted.

I would say get the bimmer but not a 3-series, especially not a vert (kinda look like girl cars to me), if you were talking about a 5-series or even a 6-series I would definitely say get a bimmer. Maybe you should check a Lexus IS350, see what you think, just food for thought (unless you absolutely hate 4-doors, which I am biased towards).

I would also like to add, for the most part bmw's have a timeless look, and the current gens I can't wait to forget the way they look. the 335i has nice specs and performance, and interesting potential due to the turbo(s)

Hmm.. On 2nd thought, (i couldn't but you like it so..) if you can live with the looks of the 335.. Go with the 335, free bmw scheduled maintenence, along with saying you drive a bmw, along with that lovely/annoying blow off/recirc sound if you happen to ever mod it.... Plus It probably has more useable interior room if you ever needed to be practical with the car.

Do they come in manual or that smg shit?

Yeah if you said 5, 6, maybe even 7 series I would have said bmw no doubt... 335 or any of the new 3 series just don't strike me right.

I know someone else that did that too. I think practicality was the determining factor.
