Re: Cruise today 1-6-08!!!
We were looking at them tonight, kind of browsing the net to see whats out there. Many of them were 100k+ miles of course, but it'd be nice to find a pristine 6spd targa tt with less than 100k. Keep the miles low and have one hell of an investment vehicle, probably one of the most financially appreciating cars on the market (asides from fully original classic cars). Plus its a Toyota!

I know of one guy who managed to break an alltrac transfer case and toyota replaced it for free claiming "There must have been some factory defect on that part, that cant break unless it was made improperly"

Re: Cruise today 1-6-08!!!
My friend John, he had the white turbo 350z but sold it, so then he bought the FD. I think we had it for sale for like 36hrs. Most blk/blk 94-95 R2s sell within 24s haha...so we were a little delayed.
Yeah the RS6s are sweet, and we've found one nearby that is a possibility. I didn't do my dad a favor when I showed him a black wingless targa TT for sale. I think he has the fever now!

Depending on which route you go, yes. But it would strictly be a second car, for playing around. The RS6 could double as a DD for my dad, so thats the other thing. He's trying to convince my mom that the Supra is in fact more spacious and more comfortable (they're huge!) than the FD, and he's done a pretty good job at it. So now for the next bit he just needs to think it all through and do some research; we'll see what turns up.

he could find a pretty sick supra with decent miles for like 35k, or an RS6 for 50k+. the real question is how does your mom get sold on this stuff?! i guess your dad is deceivingly persuasive and conniving haha
