Nothing wrong with modding a dd if you do it right with good parts... but.... that's only really relevant to cars that cost more than the tires on them.
CRX HF....
I'd say take out the entire interior down to the metal, spray with rustoleum....lose the weight, save some money...

Go with an LS or B20. B16s are dumb.

An LS or B20 would yank a CRX around just right and you can keep putting regular in it. You won't miss VTEC.

Im with this guy... gut it.. put 87 in it.. drive it til it dies. Put the money your saving in gas in a savings account and buy a track/weekend car.

Buy my crxes, put them all together into one car, and run 11s/12s and be happy, depending how much nitrous you want to feed it.

thanks for the replies (some of them). I always mod my daily drivers every car ive ever had has had major mods done to them.
So this one will be no different. I think i am prolly gonna go with the zc swap since its a easy swap and they can be bought fairly cheap. Ive found a few on craigslist but no response from the sellers as of yet. If anyone has one let me know.
Now ive also heard that the zc trans has a shorter final drive? and that a si tranny is a better choice for a dd. Anybody have any imput on that?
