They actually hold more like 20psi stock headgasket and all. some sentra guys were telling me anyhow. they have the u.s. spec 9.5:1 pistons. the jdm had 10.5:1 or 8.5:1 for the turbo. then they had the 175hp sr16ve and the sr20ve with 200hp in jdm land.
(some sentra fyi)

As a new SE-R owner I'd say go for the SE-R. Fun to drive, incredibly potent motor, and are great autoX cars. Though finding them anymore can sometimes be difficult, but they're still reliable even with 150k miles and its easy to still get ahold of parts for the SR20.

you can buy a turbo manifold from nismo for a sentra with a t2 flange. then buy a t25 from a blue bird or a silvia. cheap turbo with oem parts. if you end up buying a sentra let me know. i have a good contact on parts for 'em.

why an mr2??? if you're thinking a 3s-gte has more potential than an sr20det, you may want to reconsider that.

if you want to buy a 240 now, then do it. i can almost guarantee you won't want an mr2 after you buy the 240- especially if you have the privilige of riding in one WITH an sr20det swap.

sentras are a good idea too, but fwd. drifting is a plus... and you can't do that with fwd.

The more I learn about Nissans the more I like them, I just need to find where people sell them! Ebay sure doesn't have a good selection of most models...Oh well I'm sure I'll find a good deal on something that I like
