Re: Ran into a white Scoobie tonight on Victory Blvd....
I'll take the Pass card on this one for now
lol....believe it or not I still am, but nothing has got done to it in a about 3 years. I have spent 100% of my time doing house remodel crap to my house. When I had finally got the MR2 running about 3 years ago, it did a very baseline dyno with a crap tune and no timing in it of 380RWHP at about 14psi. The tune was only enough to get it to redline without missing and popping. No real tuning was done at all. I decided to take it to the track like that just to see what she would do, and it didnt make it . A fuel rail bolt came loose and the rail backed out one side enough to spray fuel and the engine caught fire . We happened to be right at a spot with a hose, so there wasnt too much damage done. Mainly the engine harness was destroyed. At that point I had it towed home and it has sat there ever since untouched for most of the time. I decided to change some things in the downtime and bought the new itmes, but havent got it back together yet. Major holdup is getting an exhaust mani made, which is why I finally just posted a thread looking for help just the other day. I kinda have the bug to finish now, but only so that I can sell it once done. Then I'll use some of that money to play with the Supra. The MR2 will still be a beast once I get it done. Running a GT4088R, so the potential is there . Should crack 600RWHP if all goes as planned. A few people recommended MRD in Portsmouth for the manifold, so I will be talking with them this week sometime. I'm trying to get this bastard child finished...lol...
