If you are trying to keep it cheap, try jumpstarting with another car. That will rule out a low battery. Then you can move on to your other components

If the new starter doesnt solve your problem just take it back... or push start forever...

If it sounds like this, I'd check your fuel delivery (i.e. fuel pump/pressure), spark and timing. The motor's turning-you can see the cams rotating-so it's not your starter. The car in the video starts, dies, then won't fire again. I'd really check for fuel pressure. Sounds like a fuel pump. Just my .02...

best thing is to check the basics, air, spark and fuel, but in this case check grounds, voltage, spark and fuel.. and if that goes no where check compression.
