If you are trying to keep it cheap, try jumpstarting with another car. That will rule out a low battery. Then you can move on to your other components

If the new starter doesnt solve your problem just take it back... or push start forever...

The car in the video starts, dies, then won't fire again. I'd really check for fuel pressure. Sounds like a fuel pump. Just my .02...

call my girls phone and turn the engine over so i can hear it and ill tell you what to do and how to do it over the phone...is this happening with the red ek you got from me or is it another car? i need a full description of the setup.

best thing is to check the basics, air, spark and fuel, but in this case check grounds, voltage, spark and fuel.. and if that goes no where check compression.
