No doubt in my mind it was a scam. Which brings me to the reason why I brought up that link thinking maybe OP could shed some light on it.
I really was interested in the car before and the lack of receipts did sway me away from the purchase.

nothing shady
maybe was previous owner..
this guy had many type r's and s2000's
many people and myself know him and evrything is straight...
he is just a man of few words...
he has the phone number of the shop and that sold him the transmission
and also installed the new tranny...
they won't lie to you about that...
he just lost the receipts ..
is also a very well known Racing shop as well.
Im not his best friend or anything like that
im just throwing out there that this car is legit.
maybe was previous owner..
this guy had many type r's and s2000's
many people and myself know him and evrything is straight...
he is just a man of few words...
he has the phone number of the shop and that sold him the transmission
and also installed the new tranny...
they won't lie to you about that...
he just lost the receipts ..
is also a very well known Racing shop as well.
Im not his best friend or anything like that
im just throwing out there that this car is legit.

Nunya, I think the OP needs to get in here and be posting the information that is requested. Not his buddies coming in to back him up.
If you are going to post stuff on here FS, be here to answer questions…publicly. Too much he said/she said if there actually is problems with the car when someone calls or goes to see it.
