20+ over, except in a 35. 35 = 60+ (trust me, I know.. I got pulled doing 56 in a 35 and it was only speeding, I was even forced to attend driving school where they told me the same thing).
If you loose traction, it can be considered reckless.
If you are going 80mph or over in an area that is not marked as 80mph (not in VA) then you are automatically considered going reckless.
If you are go across more than 2 lanes of traffic at one time with out stopping to check first then it is considered reckless.

The Officer can write it is as Reckless or Speeding at his discretion.
I got clocked at 58 in a 25 and the cop told me he could write me up for reckless but he was cool and gave me speeding. This was at the corner of Shore Drive and Atlantic Ave going around the bend.

Woodrow, what you posted is exactly right though, I forgot about 80 being 15 over a 65. Those length of years are, iirc, exactly right for how long something stays on your transcript.
