MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT JUST CARRYING.. ( caps sorry ) liability is that when some asshole comes and steals your bike.. you dont get any sort of compensation.. Full coverage here folks unless you dont mind springin the cash to replace your ride. I have full coverage through USAA and i think i pay like 10 bucks a month. FULL COVERAGE IS WORTH IT! Just ask people who have been robbed with only liability. Use your noodle.

 

What about uninsured motorists? FULL COVERAGE!

 

 

its 3.9 apr for 2 years, i will have it payed off long before that, so im fine

 

And if you're not paying the extra for gap coverage you're fucked anyway.

Full coverage is NOT worth it unless you drive like an idiot and hit parked cars.

I did a policy with progressive and because i know about all the bikes being stolen i decided i would invest in COMP coverage which covers it if it's stolen or set on fire or something. I figure i wont hit anything and if something hits me they can pay for it, so i opted out of Collsion coverage. $80 bucks a month.

 

thats why i carry gap and full cov. Not worth it to some.. but it is too me.

 

$475/year for full coverage for me before my bike was killed in a hit a run. The bike was an 01 ZX6R (brand new at the time), I was only 20 and I have/had state farm. If I didn't have full coverage, I would be out $8k. The claim was filed under uninsured motorists and I had to pay a small deductable. I will not own a bike that is not fully covered...especially with all the bikes that get stolen around here. I personnaly think under $500 is a steal for someone my age and to not get the full coverage would be crazy.
